![]() That also definitely didn't happen the 1st time. It kinda freaked me out at 1st but I just chalked it up to the update. But back to the weird part I mentioned before my jealous and insecure ADD decided my brain wasn't giving it enough attention.when I started the firmware update my fucking Xbox just turned on automatically. Anyways, after that runs COMPLETELY and the window automatically closes THEN run the turtle beach software. I honestly didn't even see that happen the 1st time so may be something to look for and make sure happens, even if that means uninstalling any drivers for the headset that are already on your PC. So I did also btw use a different USB port than the one I used the 1st time so windows came up with the small window that explains a new device had been connected to that port and did the search for drivers or software windows needed to use the peripheral. I intentionally powered down my Xbox before doing the update fully powered down & not the power off that quick boots your Xbox when you turn it on. Firstly I did run the program in administrator mode. But the second time I tried it actually worked so I'm gonna leave some details, or rather, observations that may or may not help anyone else having this problem. Ok I realize this is an old post but I just bought a pair of these and initially had the same problem. This may take some time.Ĥ) At this point the LED on the headset should be Solid and the LED on the transmitter should be Solid (as long as the mic boom is folded down) Please let me know what results you get (in a reply to this email). Do not move the headset or jostle the USB Connection during this process.ġ) Disconnect the transmitter from the computer and connect it to your PlayStation, to a different USB port than the one you were using previously.ģ) Wait 1 minute and allow the headset and transmitter to re-pair. This update process will take a few minutes to complete. If the Audio Hub does not prompt you to update, please try steps 1-5 again. The Audio Hub will prompt you to update the headset. The LED should then blink Red once per second. This is a copy and paste of what they came back with. Alright folks went to turtle beach about this as I still am unable to update successfully to the new firmware.
